What even is therapy?

My first experience of therapy was in 2009 immediately after the death of my mother. It wasn’t very successful, but I learned how painful it can be to not feel seen or heard. It was another 7 years before I gave therapy another go, and this time it saved and changed my life.

THERAPY IS PERSONAL AND IT’S ABOUT YOU

It can be daunting to think about talking to someone for the first time, and wondering how to find the right person. Perhaps you are feeling stuck, anxious or unhappy or just ‘not yourself’. Maybe a life event has happened and you don’t know how to navigate it yourself.

If you would like to know more about how I work and potentially book a session, please go to the contact form and drop me a line. We can then arrange a first meeting and take from there. At that initial assessment we can discuss what has brought you to therapy and make a plan together.

Therapy can be life changing, and the aim is to empower you to be able to navigate those trickier times and be curious about yourself and what makes you tick.

I look forward to meeting you.
