Octavia is well-positioned to provide consultancy services and training for production companies on best practices in mental health, wellbeing, and safeguarding. See the Welfare page for more information about the services offered.</image:caption>

<image:title>RE:HAPPY OVERVIEW - Invest in your relationship with yourself</image:title>
<image:caption>Life can become overwhelming at times. Sometimes there is a specific event or sometimes there can be general feelings of anxiety or depression, especially following the global pandemic and times of global uncertainty. Talking therapy can help to get to the heart of those fears, and uncover patterns of behaviour or thinking. I can be a witness to your story and guide you towards a more grounded sense of yourself.</image:caption>

<image:title>RE:HAPPY OVERVIEW - Improve your relationship with others</image:title>
<image:caption>‘Hell is Other People’ is a widely misunderstood quote by the French existential philosopher, Jean-Paul Satre. Being comfortable with other people and yourself can be difficult. Craving connection and belonging is a deep-rooted human need. We can work on how to be your best self, alone and with others, and cultivate deep and lasting friendships and relationships.</image:caption>

<image:title>Integrative Psychotherapy - Session Structure Each session will be 50 minutes and will start on the hour. In our first session, which may be the assessment, we’ll talk about what brings you here and what you hope to get from therapy. You will be able to decide if I am the right therapist for you. From there, we’ll build a working relationship rooted in trust, compassion, and curiosity. Sessions will take place on a regular day and time, e.g. Mondays at 3pm or every other Tuesday at 2pm. Working minimally with one session per week is best, but in certain circumstances, I will consider working on a fortnightly basis or as and when required. What we will be doing over the course of our sessions In our sessions, you’ll have a safe, confidential space to explore what’s going on in your life, whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or navigating grief or change. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here; we’ll work together in a way that suits your pace and needs. Sessions may involve discussing the past and present. We may use creative tools like drawing or writing. I will encourage you to notice what comes up in your body, and together we will explore patterns in relationships and behaviour. Some people prefer a structured session with clear goals, while others prefer a space to explore freely; both are welcome. Psychotherapy can offer insight, relief, and a sense of being heard. We might look at your past to understand how it shapes the present, and we’ll also think about how to support you in the here and now. Over time, many people find that therapy helps them feel more connected to themselves and others.</image:title>

<image:title>Integrative Psychotherapy - What Does an Integrative Psychotherapist Do?</image:title>
<image:caption>I work as an integrative psychotherapist, which means I draw on different approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. This may include focusing on the person-to-person relationship (humanistic), exploring how early experiences and unconscious processes shape the present (psychodynamic), or noticing how emotions live in the body and how neuroscience and attachment studies can support change (body-based). I also bring in existential ideas about the wider human experience and pay close attention to the relationship between us (relational), as this can reflect patterns in your life. For neurodivergent clients, I aim to offer a flexible, collaborative, and non-judgmental space that adapts to different communication styles, sensory needs, and ways of processing, so that therapy feels supportive and accessible to you.</image:caption>
